The stories of two schizophrenic protagonists that are each others main antagonist. Anna is a seer that is plagued with visions of two important people she’s trying to find - Cu is a suicidal witch who cannot die, or he else brings out the end of the world.They’re all apart of the same story, which follows Anna, her friends & religion, Cu's family & his quest. However, —his ability to jinx everything, travel through spirit worlds, and his penchant for sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong — it’s all a recipe for disaster that ends up with him permanently intertwining himself into Ana’s story for the rest of her already haunted life.

Cu is the main protagonist of The Deep End. He is a schizophrenic witch that has the ability to see ghosts. His powers were gifted to him by a creature who calls herself Gilminye, an ancient being that has been chained to the bottom of the sea for thousands of years.In exchange for these abilities, Cu has to find the emerald key and free her, which is lost somewhere in the ocean floor. Gilminye grants him access to her ethereal realm while he sleeps, a watery graveyard called The Deep End that the film is named after.
